Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a scientifically recognised and evidence-based therapeutic method. It is oriented towards current problems of patients. The goal is to alleviate suffering through a variety of strategies. CBT uses a wide range of solution-oriented and disorder-specific interventions. Problematic behavioural patterns are examined individually. As a consequence, suitable methods are derived. They may lead to more satisfaction and well-being.
Patients are encouraged to test new, more adequate behaviours during the sessions and at home to have new experiences on a cognitive, emotional and physical level.
In my work, I also use mindful based techniques which deepen the awareness of the moment and acceptance. A friendlier interaction with themselves can increase self-compassion and may lead to a better welfare.
My approach is transparent and oriented towards individual needs. Goals are defined accordingly. In addition, I aim to empower patients to help themselves in the best possible way by enhancing their own strengths and resources by means of modern, well recognised therapeutic strategies.
